There was a phrase in a worship song this morning, "Who do I say you are? You're everything you say you are." This question and response made the highlight list for the day.
Song playing is What are Words. I remember hearing this song on the radio and it rang true as if God was singing parts of it...
Any where you are, I am near (Philippians 4:5 The Lord is near.)
Any where you go, I'll be there (Matthew 28:20 I am with you Always.)
And I'm gonna be here forever more (Psalm 121 The Lord watches over your coming and going both now and forevermore.)
Every single promise I keep (Jeremiah 1:12 I am watching to see that my word is fulfilled.)

"What are my words, Shannon, if I really didn't mean them when I said them."
For no matter how many promises God has made, they are "Yes" in Christ. And so through him the "Amen" is spoken by us to the glory of God. ~ 2 Corinthians 1:20
Another highlight today was a sweet lunch and the quiet toast my husband and I had nestled in our corner booth. It was our celebration of this day 13 years ago when he asked me to be his wife. He was so cute today, sharing how he was really nervous that day. He said he knew how he had planned the night to go, but it was nerve-racking b/c I had all the control on how it would really play out. I hadn't realized :)
